I came here to repair the backpack on the advice I got from Čeda's studio. At the bottom of my second unit, there were holes at the edges made by the sharp corners of the laptop. I wanted to strengthen and sew up the bottom. The master said that there is no material for strengthening, but he can sew it (so I realized that this verb sounds the same in Serbian as in Russian). And in general, complained that the backpack is old and for a long time it will not help.
I left my backpack and my contact number, and I told him I was leaving in three days. The master promised to text in a day or two about readiness. And he really did text me the very next day. He repaired not only the holes I had asked him to fix, but also all the other issues he found, and there were about five more of them. And, as it seemed to me, with a sense of pride and satisfaction in the work he had done, he said that the backpack looked as good as new. The entire repair cost 1,000 dinars (about €9), which I was extremely pleased with.
By the way, the name “Gerasim”, which sounds quite familiar to Russian ears, comes from the owner's surname — Gerasimovski.
