About the blog

Hi. My name is Igor, and this is my personal blog — bardin.blog.

Here I write about the things that catch my attention today. It might be a note about the nuances of life in the Balkans, a review of a Dud video, or a short summary of a chapter from a book I’ve read... really, anything.

The blog does not have a rigid theme. It is more of a place where I collect useful experience, thoughts, and breakdowns of the things I dive into and that have already become part of my life.

Sometimes these are practical guides. Sometimes they are personal observations. Sometimes they are song translations with an attempt to understand what they are really about.

Usually it all starts with simple curiosity: I notice a topic, begin digging into it, and then turn it into an article. If the material turns out to be useful and interesting to people, I keep developing it, expanding it, and improving it.

I like making things both lively and useful: so that an article does not look like a soulless SEO page, while still genuinely helping a person solve a problem, understand a topic, or learn something new. And, of course, reflect a small part of me.

I expect the blog to grow in different directions over time — depending on what turns out to be interesting to me and to readers.

And one more important point. I believe that any work that brings value should be paid for. That is why the site has ads, and over time there may be other ways of monetizing it as well.

In essence, this is simply the blog of a person who loves figuring things out and sharing what he has found.
